IS THERE ANYTHING TO DO IN THE AREA?

Yes, the cottage is close to Bracebridge, Bala, Port Carling and Gravenhurst. There's lots to do within a short drive. We have everything from tourist attractions to provincial parks, and the best golf in Muskoka! You may find, however, that you want to park yourself at the lake for your entire stay, and that’s okay too because there's so much to do at Sunset Point Cottage! Gravenhurst Muskoka Wharf

 

Walk the 2000+ foot boardwalk for waterfront dining, shops, local attractions, and activities like Ribfest. Arrive by boat in only 25min.

There are 19 golf courses all within a 45 minute radius including the spectacular Taboo Muskoka Resort which is only 15 minutes by boat.

Santa's Village

 

Santa's Village is 60 acres of family fun nestled on a bend of the Muskoka River a 10 min drive away. Rides, ziplines and fun for all ages!

Home to legendary summer concerts since 1942. Visit Muskoka's summer tradition for some great live music in 25 min by boat.

Muskoka has some of the greatest sport & rec fishing in the province and we are a short boat ride to many of the best fishing spots on the lake. 

Free Waterski Shows

​

SWS offers free waterski and wakeboard shows weekly in Bala and there are also shows in Gravenhurst. Both are easily accessible by boat a ton of fun to see!
